The Vatican City State has unveiled its new 2025 gold coin series, a collection of great artistic and symbolic value dedicated to some of the most significant episodes and celebrations in Christian tradition. The issue, officially announced on May 6, is linked to the pontificate of Leo XIV.

The issue consists of three themed gold coins: a 10 euro coin entitled "Baptism 2025", a 100 euro coin commemorating the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, and a 200 euro issue dedicated to the Holy Year 2025.
