On May 9th, the National Bank of Hungary issued a commemorative coin dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Hungarian Football Federation. The coin was minted in two versions—one in silver with a face value of 25,000 forints and another in cupronickel with a face value of 5,000 forints—both with the same design.

Obverse
The obverse features the trophy of the cup competition inaugurated by the MLSZ in 1909, with part of the Puskás Aréna in the background. The circular legend “MAGYARORSZÁG” (Hungary) is located around the top edge, along with the face value to the left of the trophy, and the mint mark “BP.” and the year of issue “2026” at the bottom of the composition.

Almost the entire reverse of the coin features an image of the type of ball used nearly 100 years ago, along with the Hungarian Football Federation's jubilee logo. The designer's mark, Andrea Horváth, is located at the bottom.
