When every day it seems more difficult for a coin to have something that surprises me, I have to say that the one I present to you today has done it, and of course it is a pleasant surprise that shows us that our capacity for amazement within the numismatic world It hasn't peaked yet. Today I will talk to you about a new coin that in turn inaugurates a new series that seems to me to be a real wonder.

The extraordinary coin I am referring to inaugurates the new “Camouflage of Nature” series and is issued under the name “Zebra”. The coin is issued in Proof quality and the most important thing is that it has a technique that generates a mesmerizing optical illusion, which is greatly helped by the Smartminting Ultra High Relief technology. This piece will make even those who do not usually pay much attention to coins lay their eyes on it.

 

The reverse of the coin features a mesmerizing pattern with black and silver horizontal lines, creating a three-dimensional effect that creates an optical illusion of movement. The pattern is interrupted by a beautiful zebra seen from above that, when walking on the lines, generates a concave trail. The optical illusion also shows some colors when looking at the design, even though the coin is not colored.

The obverse of the coin features an abstract pattern at the bottom, which transitions into a more animalistic pattern at the top and symbolizes camouflage in nature.
