These coins, minted in 999 pure silver and crafted in high relief, combine modern techniques with an aesthetic clearly inspired by Gothic imagery, standing out both for their technical quality and for a visual narrative deeply rooted in symbolism and the macabre.
One of the fundamental pillars of this issue is its technical execution. THE RAVEN
The series opens with a piece dedicated to the Raven, one of the most iconically eerie creatures in the natural world and, at the same time, a powerful symbol of mystery.
In this piece, the bird is depicted in profile, with an extraordinary level of detail. The feathers, worked in overlapping layers, create a sense of restrained movement, as if the animal were on high alert.
The background features ornamental patterns reminiscent of Gothic stained glass, reinforcing the mystical atmosphere. A golden element of organic design stands out on the raven's chest, reminiscent of a talisman or reliquary.
The crow's gaze, accentuated by a small bright spot, seems to direct attention towards the viewer, creating a disturbing and direct connection.
THE BLACK WIDOW
The series is not limited to a single creature. A second coin presented within this collection introduces the figure of the Black Widow, a choice that is not accidental. This arachnid, widely recognized both for its danger and its aura of mystery, has been reinterpreted as a dual symbol: lethal predator and figure of hypnotic beauty.
The design places the spider at the center of a complex web that unfolds with precision thanks to the high relief. Each thread appears taut, almost tangible, generating a sense of three-dimensionality that goes beyond the ordinary.
One of the most striking aspects is the addition of a gilded filigree mask. This ornamental structure, positioned on the animal's body, introduces an almost ceremonial element, as if the creature bore a symbolic identity. The contrast between the bright gold and the dark tones of the aged silver intensifies the dramatic character of the composition.
At the bottom, a small prey caught in the net completes the scene. This detail, far from being anecdotal, contributes a clear narrative: the story of the hunt, the silent stalking, and the inevitable fate.
