On September 17, the Bank of Ukraine issued a new 10-hryvnia circulation coin dedicated to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

This coin honors the central executive body that implements state policy on civil defense, protection of the population and territories in emergencies, emergency prevention and response, rescue operations, firefighting, fire and technological safety, emergency rescue services activities, and hydrometeorological activities. The coins honor the courage, dedication, and professionalism of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) personnel, who save lives and ensure the safety of citizens on a daily basis, both in peacetime and during wartime.

Some of these coins are supplied in rolls of 25 coins, presented in a themed wrapper that reflects the coin's design in full color.

The reverse of the coin depicts a SESU rescuer in full gear holding a fire hose and a lance. The following circular legend appears: at the top: СМІЛИВІ РЯТУВАТИ ЖИТТЯ (Brave to Save Lives), a motto reflecting the SESU's main mission; and at the bottom: ДСНС УКРАЇНИ (SES of Ukraine). Between the legends, on both sides, are stylized oak leaves, elements of the SESU emblem.

On the obverse, the coat of arms of Ukraine is displayed at the top; in the center, surrounded by an ancient Rus ornament, is the semicircular legend of the issuing country "UKRAINE" and the face value "10 hryvnias"; against the background of the ornament are the year of issue of the coin, "2025" (below) and the mint mark of the Printing and Minting House of the NBU (on the right).
