În a doua jumătate a secolului al XIX-lea, tratamentele homeopatice au început să se bucure de o popularitate din ce în ce mai mare, mai ales după procedurile dure ale secolului anterior, cu venesecții, purgații și alte ”echilibrări” ale umorilor. Colecția Muzeului Farmaciei include și un set plin cu medicamente homeopatice, provenit din farmacia lui Jármay Gusztáv, care mai târziu a fost comercializat în farmacia Adler din Sibiu. În cutie se află în prezent 37 de sticluțe, unele cu preparatele originale păstrate.
Jármay Gusztáv a fost practicant la farmacia „Vulturul de Aur” din Nyíregyháza din 1830, iar în 1839 a obținut diploma la Pesta. Din 1845 a condus farmacia numită „Leul”, unde în 1858 a amenajat și o secție homeopatică.

A 19. század második felében a homeopátiás kezelések egyre nagyobb népszerűségnek kezdtek örvendeni, különösen az előző század kemény eljárásai – érvágások, hashajtások és más „nedvek kiegyensúlyozására” irányuló módszerek – után. A Gyógyszertártörténeti Múzeum gyűjteményében található egy teljes homeopátiás gyógyszerkészlet is, amely Jármay Gusztáv gyógyszertárából származik, és amelyet később a nagyszebeni Adler gyógyszertárban forgalmaztak. A dobozban jelenleg 37 fiola található, némelyikben az eredeti készítmények is megőrződtek.
Jármay Gusztáv 1830 – tól a nyíregyházi Arany Sas gyógyszertárban volt gyakornok, majd 1839 – ben szerzett oklevelet Pesten. 1845 – től vezette az Oroszlán nevű gyógyszertárat, ahol 1858 – ban homeopátiás részleget is berendezett.

In the second half of the 19th century, homeopathic treatments began to enjoy increasing popularity, especially after the harsh procedures of the previous century—such as bloodletting, purgatives, and other methods aimed at “balancing the humors.” The Museum of the History of Pharmacy holds a complete homeopathic medicine set from the pharmacy of Gusztáv Jármay, which was later distributed at the Adler Pharmacy in Sibiu. The box currently contains 37 vials, some of which still preserve the original preparations.
Gusztáv Jármay was an apprentice at the “Golden Eagle” Pharmacy in Nyíregyháza from 1830, and in 1839 he obtained his diploma in Pest. From 1845 he managed the pharmacy called “Lion,” where in 1858 he also set up a homeopathic section.
