For today we have another coin to feast our eyes on, based on a work by the painter Gustav Klimt, to whom the Austrian Mint already dedicated a complete series of coins not long ago. This innovative piece, the first in the Matrix Art series, features a relief of binary numbers, zeros and ones, embedded on the work "Golden Tears", "Golden tears" or also known as "Freya's tears".

 

The full-color reverse shows most of the painting with a binary zeros and ones relief and with Freya's tears plated in 24k gold. Freya is one of the main goddesses in Norse mythology who symbolizes love, fertility, and beauty.
