Today I bring you a very different coin from the ones we are used to seeing, a coin made up of 254 pieces minted thanks to Smartmintin technology, which together reveal the famous work Rêverie, by Alfons Mucha, one of the greatest exponents of European modernism. This 3-ounce silver coin is the third issue in the "Micropuzzle Treasures" series, dedicated to the Art of the micropuzzle.
The reverse of the coin reproduces the spectacular color painting “ Rêverie” by Alphonse Mucha, minted with 254 pieces in exceptional high relief, to reproduce and empathize with the extraordinary beauty of this miniature work of art. At the bottom right is the year of issue “2021”, along with several loose pieces of the puzzle that have not yet been placed.
The obverse of the coin features the Palau coat of arms, surrounded by a beautiful decorative pattern of micropuzzles. Around the front, the inscriptions: “MICROPUZZLE TREASURES”, name of the series, “REPÚBLICA DE PALAU”, issuing country and “20 $”, as face value. Each coin is individually numbered on the edge.
