The legend “CITTÀ DEL VATICANO” encircles the upper portion, while the value “20 EURO” and the inscription “IVBILAEVM 2025” complete the design.

It features the papal coat of arms with the tiara and crossed keys, accompanied by heraldic and ornamental elements. At the bottom is the motto “MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO” (Miserando atque eligendo). The design conveys authority and tradition, reinforcing the official nature of the issue.

Obverse:

In the scene depicted on the coin, Saint Francis appears in fervent prayer, his hands outstretched toward Christ and his face turned upward, as if in an intimate and moving dialogue. In the background is the Holy Door, an element closely linked to Jubilee Years. The inscription “CITTÀ DEL VATICANO” (Vatican City), the value “50 EURO,” and the date alongside “IVBILAEVM 2025” frame the scene, underscoring its spiritual significance.

Reverse:

It displays the pontifical coat of arms with the mitre, the crossed keys, and the central IHS emblem radiating light. The motto “MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO” is present again, surrounded by the inscription “FRANCISCVS PP. – ANNVS IVBILAEI – MMXXV”, reinforcing the connection with the Jubilee and the current pontificate.

Both euro sets combine numismatic value, religious symbolism and meticulous production, making them especially attractive pieces for both euro collectors and those seeking issues linked to historical events in the Vatican.
