After many contradictory data on this issue, I can now confirm exactly everything regarding the 2 euro commemorative coin that France issues this year dedicated to the "Paris 2024 Olympic Games", a coin that will be part of a series, predictably, of five pieces that will run from 2021 to 2024, forming a collection of 5 pieces.
The coin that is issued on September 21 presents an athlete in the foreground, in the background we see the image of the Eiffel Tower and an athletics track, in which at the height of where the start is given, the logo of the Olympics Paris 2024. The indication of the issuing State "RF" is at the bottom, just below it is the year of issue "2021" and to the left and right respectively, the mint mark and that of the engraver, Joaquin Jimenez.
500,000 coins in BU quality will be presented in five different coincards as you can see in the images. The price in France will be 10 euros per unit. Of the coin in Proof quality, 10,000 will be issued, at a price of 20 euros, in France.
Although this coin will not go into circulation, I have been able to detect up to four coins that have been found by French citizens at the exchange and then put up for sale on auction sites. So it is possible that more may appear.
