Mauritania new 50-ouguiya commemorative note (B131) reportedly introduced on 18.06.2023
On 15 June 2023, the Banque Centrale de Mauritanie unveiled designs for a new 50-ouguiya note to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the ougiya currency. The same design will be issued on three different substrates: polymer center between paper, paper with sisal, and paper center between polymer.
