Collectors who combine numismatics and philately have for sale one of the products that has established itself as a traditional issue each year, and is also a more exclusive way of obtaining the commemorative 2-euro coin. I am referring to the folder issued by Correos under the name of “World Heritage” , in which three products are combined, dedicated this year to the “Garajonay National Park”.
Correos, together with the National Currency and Stamp Factory, has issued within its collectionphilatelic called "World Heritage" a new installment dedicated this time to the "Garajonay National Park". This place was declared a National Park in 1981 and five years later, World Heritage by UNESCO, due to the value of its ecosystem. With this title of World Heritage, it seeks to preserve the Garajonay National Park, on the Island of La Gomera.
All these products include an uncirculated two-euro legal tender coin, as well as the stamp, block sheet format, and the deluxe proof that refer to each of the aforementioned topics.
This last product in the series, dedicated to the Garajonay National Park, on the Island of La Gomera, consists of a block sheet where the Garajonay mountain can be seen, with a circular stamp with the image of this mountain, with a face value of 6, €45, a luxury proof that reproduces the hallmark in silver, in addition to the uncirculated 2-euro legal tender coin with the same image as the hallmark.
The coin
On the obverse, the Roque de Agando and a detail of the laurel forest are reproduced. In the upper right part, in capital letters and in a circular direction, the legend SPAIN and the year of minting 2022; below, the mint mark. Surrounding all the motifs and legends, in the outer circular area of the coin, the twelve stars of the European Union appear.
On the edge of the coin is the inscription: "2 * *" repeated six times and oriented alternately from bottom to top and top to bottom.
The issue volume of the coin is 1,000,000 pieces.
