The fact is that to celebrate the 170th anniversary of L'Agenzia delle dogane e dei monopoli (ADM) in Italy, a silver coin with a face of 5 euros and Proof quality has just been issued, of which 2,500 pieces have been minted. We hope that they have this number of officials in this administration who are willing to buy the currency, the rest of the citizens I think will not see it as a very attractive issue.
The Agenzia delle dogane e dei monopoli (Customs and Monopolies Agency) (also called Agenzia delle Accise, Dogane e Monopoli di Stato (State Excise, Customs and Monopolies Agency), is one of the three Italian tax agencies (the others are the State Property Agency and the Tax Agency) that carry out technical-operational activities that were previously the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance. In particular, the ADM carries out regulation, collection and supervision activities in the fields of customs and excise taxes and state monopolies on energy, alcohol, tobacco and gambling. ADM's activities are subject to the control of the Ministry of Finance and the Court of Auditors.
