Just eight days after the issuance of the first coin of the “Ukrainian Armed Forces” series dedicated to the “Navy”, today July 22 the second is issued in which the protagonist is the “Special Operations Forces”.

All coins in this series feature 10-grivna facials minted on a zinc alloy. Although the final price is not yet known, they will be very cheap and suitable for any type of collector.

This body of the Armed Forces has specialists capable of carrying out complex, dangerous operations, intelligence work, protecting the lives of citizens and state-owned assets outside the borders of Ukraine, fighting illegal arms trafficking or against terrorism and piracy, in support of the resistance movement, in the security of maritime transport, in international military cooperation, …

The motto of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is «I'm coming for you!», Today this has become a symbol of bravery, courage and nobility of soldiers ready to defend their Motherland.

 

The obverse of the coin features: in the center, on a mirror background, the emblem of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to the right of which is a small Coat of Arms of the State of Ukraine; inscriptions: at the top – UKRAINE, at the bottom the denomination “10 GRIVNAS” and year of minting of the coin “2022”; the mark of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine, is located to the left of the denomination.

 

On the reverse of the coin there is a symbolic composition: in the background there is an outline of the image of Svyatoslav the Brave with a sword and a shield, and on the front is a soldier of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; the inscription around the circle: SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE.
