This year marks the 40th anniversary of one of the most iconic investment coins, the Chinese Panda, first issued by the Chinese Mint in 1982. Nodding to this successful and globally recognized series of coins, I present to you a piece in which the famous Panda is taken a little further, making him a Paladin.

This extraordinary 3 Oz Silver coin celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Panda Coins and features and honors its protagonist transformed into a Panda Paladin. The coin features the impressive Ultra High Relief Smartminting technology, has a Black Proof quality and multiple finishes, has been selectively gilded in 24 Karat Gold and comes in a case, along with its Certificate of Authenticity. The print run is limited to only 888 units.

The reverse of the coin features a beautiful depiction of a colored and gilded panda, wearing gold armor and in a warrior pose, with his sword and fighting staff. In the background, a beautiful high-relief view of the Great Wall of China. On the Panda Paladin's armor, an engraving of a panda with the same representation as on the first Panda coin from 1982.
