We already have the issuance of a new 2 euro commemorative coin for 2021, and we already have another one of those coins with which Malta is blatantly trying to do business with. Taking advantage of the combination of multiple mint marks, he tries to get collectors to acquire the three possible compositions that can be given in this piece.

Today, October 26, the 2-euro commemorative coin dedicated to the "Temples of Tarxien" is issued, a coin belonging to the "Prehistoric Temples of Malta" series that began in 2016 and will end in 2022 when the seven pieces that comprise the series, same number as megalithic temples are located in Malta.

The coin features an image of the Temples of Tarxien in the center of its obverse. Above, in three horizontal lines, appears the legend “TARXIEN TEMPLES 3,600 - 2,500 BC” (Before Christ), while below, in two horizontal lines, the legend of the issuing country “MALTA” and the year of issue “ 2021 ". The initials "NGB" of the engraver, Noel Galea Bason , appear on the right just below the central motif. The 12 stars of the EU flag appear on the outer ring of the coin.
