The beautiful and innovative coin that I present to you today has also helped me to meet a painter, Leonid Afrémov, who, although famous, is not one of the classics. Going deeper into his work, his paintings have conquered me with that particular style that they are an explosion of color. One of his works, Couple Under One Umbrella, has been chosen to be represented in the fourth piece in the series "Micropuzzle Treasures", dedicated to the Art of the micropuzzle. The result is sublime.
The coin that has a mintage date of 2022 will be issued at the end of the year, although it can already be purchased, a very interesting option since the previous pieces in the series have seen its price skyrocket, something that I also predict for this piece.
These coins, made up of three ounces of silver, are very different from the ones we are used to seeing and at the same time very original and colorful. They are made up of 254 minted pieces and thanks to Smartmintin technology, together they reveal the famous work of a famous painter. This time Couple Under One Umbrella by Leonid Afrémov.
The reverse of the coin shows a young couple under an umbrella, walking in the rain. Afremov added streetlights on both sides of the street to add a little more romance to the image. The coin features several varieties of beautiful and harmonious colors and is minted in many puzzle pieces, in exceptionally high relief, to reproduce and immerse yourself in the extraordinary beauty of this piece of art dedicated to miniature puzzles. The year "2022" appears on the left, along with several loose pieces of the puzzle that have yet to be placed.
The obverse of the coin features the Palau coat of arms, surrounded by a beautiful decorative pattern of micropuzzles. Around the obverse, the inscriptions: “MICROPUZZLE TREASURES”, name of the series, “REPÚBLICA DE PALAU”, issuing country and “20 $”, as face value. Each coin is individually numbered on the edge.
The coin is presented in an exclusive box, along with its certificate of authenticity. The circulation is very limited, only 499 units.
