The Who, one of the most iconic bands in Great Britain, is the star of the fourth coin in the Music Legends series, which pays tribute to great groups and soloists from the United Kingdom who have become icons of music by world level.

It's not often that a band spans multiple generations, but The Who, with their explosive performances, has been a part of Britain's soundtrack for more than 50 years. Together, its four members challenged genres, broke records, and thrilled fans with their unique style.

Artist Henry Gray has included some of the most iconic symbols of the band's live performances in his design. A Union flag, mod logo, and speaker-smashing Rickenbacker guitar that appears in the shape of a pinball table, which is a nod to Tommy, one of the band's most famous creations.

The obverse shows the traditional image of Queen Elizabeth II in a Jody Clark design, the year of issue and the face value of the coin, 5 Pounds (Pounds).
