The Russian invasion of Ukraine is unleashing a wave of solidarity around the world with the Ukrainian people and nation, from all parts of the world. The latest initiative, in our country, has been by the National Currency and Stamp Factory – Royal Mint, which will issue a medal on Monday, June 6, under the name of “Solidarity with Ukraine”. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the medals will go to the victims of the war in Ukraine.
The FNMT-RCM has designed and minted a color medal under the motto “Solidarity with Ukraine”. A dove of peace carries the flags of Spain and Ukraine in its beak as a symbol of unity and support for the situation in the country.
This piece has the following characteristics:
33 mm in diameter (same as traditional 30 euro coins)
15 grams in weight
Cupro-nickel alloy
It has no face value as it is a medal, and it will have a retail price of €10 including VAT.
It will be delivered protected with a FNMT-RCM corporate plastic.
For all those who wanted to acquire it, they will be able to do so from next Monday in numismatic stores throughout the country.
