Samoa new 100-tala polymer numismatic product (BNP132) reportedly introduced on 10.09.2026
This 100-tala note commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth II. While the note is legal tender, only 20,000 notes were produced, and members of the public were restricted to obtaining only two notes at face value with explicit instructions not to use in everyday commerce. The bulk of the notes are sold at a premium to international collectors through PBN Currency Solutions, with 1,000 notes packaged in a special commemorative folder, and 125 sheets of uncut blocks of 8 notes each also available for sale.
