Burundi new 10,000-franc numismatic product (BNP201) reported
This non-circulating, legal-tender 10,000-franc note commemorates 50 years of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), also known as the Washington Convention, a multilateral treaty that protects endangered plants and animals from the threats of international trade. This note was privately produced by Mietens & Partner GmbH of Germany in cooperation with the Banque de la République du Burundi. For more information, visit www.giantbanknote.com.

This note is 42% larger than the Malaysia 2017 600-ringgit note (BNP107) measuring 370 x 220 mm, which the Guinness Book of World Records heretofore considered to be the physically largest legal tender note ever issued.
