Tomorrow, September 12, the Euroset Proof 2023 will be issued in Spain, which this year, apart from the eight circulation coins with a mint date of the current year, includes the two commemorative 2 euro coins in this quality, «Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union" and "World Heritage – Old City of Cáceres", the motif to which the latter is dedicated illustrates the case in which the coins are presented.

The maximum print run for this Euroset Proof is 1,500 units. The recommended retail price, VAT included, is €80.

Also tomorrow, September 12, is when the National Mint and Stamp Factory will issue and put on sale, along with the rest of the authorized numismatics, this piece in its highest quality. Both the issuance volume and its price are the same as in recent years for a coin of these characteristics. There will be 5,000 in this presentation, at the recommended price of 23 euros.

 

The coin reproduces the logo of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union; In its lower part, the mint mark appears. Surrounding the logo are, in a circular sense and in capital letters, the legends SPAIN 2023 – SPANISH PRESIDENCY and COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION. At the bottom, the mint mark of the National Mint and Stamp Factory – Real Casa de la Moneda is represented with the crowned “M”. All the motifs and legends are surrounded by the twelve stars of the European Union.
