Yesterday, September 20, a new 10-ruble coin from the series of bimetallic coins intended for circulation called "Russian Federation" was issued. This collection has been issued by the Bank of Russia since 2005 and is dedicated to its Regions (Oblast). The last in the series, for now, has an issue volume of 1 million coins, this time it was the turn of the Khabarovsk Krai, one of the nine krais that, together with the forty-seven oblasts, twenty-one republics, four autonomous districts and two federal cities, make up the eighty-three federal subjects of Russia.
Khabarovsk Krai is one of the largest Russian regions, with unique natural resources and diverse flora and fauna, such as reindeer, brown bears, snow sheep, Amur tigers and Asiatic black bears.
The key industries of the territory are metallurgy, machine building, energy production, oil refining, extraction of mineral resources (coal and non-ferrous metals) and food production.
On the reverse of the coin, in its central core, the coat of arms of the Khabarovsk Krai is shown, on the ring the inscriptions, at the top "Russian Federation" and at the bottom "Khabarovsk Krai", complete the composition.
The obverse of the coin, in the upper part of the ring, shows the inscription “Bank of Russia”, in the lower part “2023”. To the left and right of the ring, a laurel and oak branch, respectively, elements that invade the central disk. In the center are the number "10" and the inscription "ruble" indicating the value of the coin. Within the figure "0" in a latent image you can see the figure "10" and the inscription "rub". The mint mark is shown at the bottom.
