The Royal Canadian Mint has issued a pure silver coin that features a stunning image of the Bald Eagle, created by artist Robert Bateman. This bird of prey is a symbol of strength, resistance to nature and majesty. The coin features a photorealistic engraving that captures the essence of the eagle and Bateman's artistic and naturalistic skill.

The reverse of the coin is an engraving adapted from Vantage Point – Bald Eagle, an original artwork by Canadian artist Robert Bateman. It shows a side view of a Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) perched on the moss-covered roots of an uprooted tree. The coin's luminous silver surface replaces the misty gray sky of the original painting, where the text “CANADA 2023” appears, while the artist's signature is engraved under the denomination “30 DOLLARS”.

The obverse features a nature-themed motif and the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, the work of Susanna Blunt. There is also a special mark that includes four pearls that symbolize the four effigies that adorned the Canadian coins and the double date of her reign.
