LAMPĂ (OPAIȚ)

În expoziția de arheologie a Muzeului Județean Olt se păstrează un opaiț roman descoperit în dava dacică de la Sprâncenata-Gâlmee (jud. Olt) în anul 1979. Corpul este rotund, discul este concav, baza este plată și este prevăzut cu un cioc alungit cu terminație unghiulară și volute, cu orificiu de ardere relativ îngust; culoare cărămizie. Discul este decorat cu un personaj reprezentat în picioare, care ține mâna stângă ridicată, cu o armă, iar la picioare este reprezentat un animal. Restaurare: Ion Marinică. Foto: Florin Ciulavu.
Dimensiuni: L = 99,2 mm; l = 71,3 mm; H = 28,5 mm.
Context: Srâncenata 1979, S XI, c. 8, -0,50 m.
Datare: sec. I p. Chr.

LAMP
In the archeology exhibition of the Olt County Museum, an opaiț from the Roman age discovered in the Dacian fortress of Sprâncenata-Gâlmee (Olt county) in 1979 is kept. The body is round, the disc is concave, the base is flat and it is equipped with a beak oblong with angular termination and volutes, with relatively narrow combustion hole; brick-red color. The disc is decorated with a standing figure holding a weapon in his left hand, and an animal at his feet. Restoration: Ion Marinică. Photo: Florin Ciulavu.
