Available, in pre-sale and exclusively, the first installment of the impressive series «Day & Night». In this first piece, of 3 ounces of silver, we have the nocturnal and daytime representation of the largest feline in America, the Jaguar.
Thanks to the Ultra High Relief engraving and the Smartminting technology, we enjoy a realistic design, where the animal seems to come out of the coin itself, in addition to the extensive detail that its Obsidian Black Proof quality brings to the design.
On the reverse of this elegant coin we observe, like a double-edged sword, the portrait of the imposing Jaguar reproduced in two chiaroscuro tones. In the daylight, we see the sharp and clear image of the feline in defined and vibrant colors, while, during the representation of the night, in its other half of the body, we see dark and dim shapes depicting the animal. Thanks to this contrast, a surprising visual effect is created that makes the design even more impressive.
While on the obverse of the coin we can see a beautiful image of a stylized sun, inside which is the Coat of Arms of Palau. In addition, the design also includes representations of the different phases of the moon, and the inscriptions "REPUBLIC OF PALAU", the issuing country, and "20 DOLLARS".
