No less than 24 bimetallic coins are the ones that have just been put on sale today, December 30, only once in Turkey. The pieces make up a series called "Birds of Anatolia", have a facial of 1 kurus (1 cent of Turkish lira) and have been put up for sale at the price of 8 Turkish lira each (1.20 euros).

This collection is quite curious, because there are really 12 different designs, but there are two versions of each one. Each bird represented in the coin has two different types, one has the golden core and the silver ring and the other is just the opposite. Let's say that one would have the combination that presents the currency of 1 euro and the other as that of 2 euros, although keeping both the same diameter.

Above we see the 12 coins in one of its versions, and below in the other.

Features common to the entire series

Face value : 1 kurus
Metals: Cupronickel and zinc
Diameter: 28 mm
Weight: 10.2 g
Emission volume: 15,000 each

My opinion is that they are interesting currencies. The bimetallic currency is much appreciated by collectors, to this we add that the coin with animal motifs is also highly demanded, its emission volume although low does not prevent its price from being affordable, at least at the beginning. The quality of the minting, of similar coins, I have this collection , is quite good. The only question we have left to ask ourselves is if we like the designs, if so, it is a good option to increase our collection.

Surely in a few days different national and international sellers will have them for sale on Ebay pages, I think it is the best option to get them.
