On December 23, the Bank of Kazakhstan issued one of its last coins of the year. It is a collector's item with a silver face of 500 tenge, which under the name of Kóshpendi Sadagy is dedicated to the ancient nomadic warriors who inhabited their lands.
The bow has long been considered the soul of the nomad and is a symbol of his sporting and competitive spirit.
The reverse of the KÓSHPENDI SADAGY coin depicts a nomadic warrior shooting from a bow against a background of rock paintings depicting archers. At the top of the coin there is an image of flying arrows as a symbol of the power of the weapons of the nomads.
The obverse of the coin is an allegory of protection in the form of a shield, in the center of which is the Coat of Arms of the State of Kazakhstan. Around the shield there is an ornamental rosette, as well as the inscriptions QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY and REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN in the state and English languages, the NBK logo and the denomination of the coin, the metal, its fineness and weight.
