The New Zealand Mint surprises us with the issuance of a curious and amusing one-ounce silver coin, in which the hollowed-out figure of the famous Looney Tunes character, Wile E. Coyote, appears.
The notorious ACME Corporation artifacts that Coyote uses for his plans to catch the speedy roadrunner have a curious fact that they always work, even though they often work against himself. Which causes funny scenes like the ones on this coin.
The creative piece shows on its back one of the mythical blows that the Coyote usually suffers in the series, since he is always crushed carrying out one of his failed plans. We also see the color logo of ACME Corporation, a fictitious company from the Looney Tunes universe. The background of the composition has a modern antique finish, giving the bumpy blow more realism.
