There are five coins that have been used to represent the pictorial work "Table of Deadly Sins", by El Bosco. This painting was painted on a wooden table and is made up of a larger circle with scenes illustrating the seven deadly sins, surrounded by four smaller circles representing the four last things. As Bosch painted this work on a table top, the idea was that people contemplate their sins before confessing them.
Power Coin, who is behind this coin, has reproduced the Greater Circle on a 3 oz Silver coin with a diameter of 100mm. The coin is concave and has a brilliant coloration, thanks to a layer of white color used as a base layer for printing.
For the four small circles, four ½ ounce Silver coins with a diameter of 38.61 mm each were chosen. The coins have a detailed and vivid coloration and represent the last four stages that the human soul passes through.
The ½ ounce coins feature a representation of the “four last things”: Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell. The central 3 Oz coin, which is concave, represents the Seven Deadly Sins: Anger at the bottom, then (clockwise) Envy, Greed, Gluttony, Sloth, Lust and pride, using scenes from life instead of allegorical representations of sins.
The five coins in this set are legal tender in Palau, and include the coat of arms on the obverse, as well as the face value, which is "$20" for the large coin and "$2" for each of the larger coins. the little ones.
