One of the coins issued in the last days of 2023 by the Vatican corresponds to a gold piece with a face of 200 euros called "Towards the Holy Year 2025."

The coin belongs to a series that began in 2022, is issued one per year (2022-2023-2024) and will culminate in 2025 with the last coin dedicated to the Jubilee.

The artist Daniela Longo represents on the reverse of the coin an image rich in symbolism related to welcome and solidarity. At the top we see St. Peter's Basilica and the square that, with its two rows of columns, seems to embrace and hold an anchor, the upper part of which is shaped like a cross and the lower part that of a ship with the inscription “Towards the Year.” Holy 2025”. On the left side we see a doctor attending to a child sitting on the edge of the ship, on the opposite side is the Holy Family. Both symbolize all those who are forced to leave their homeland due to wars, famine and political and religious persecution. On the right side of the coin we see the symbol of the Pilgrim, a shell and above it a group of young pilgrims heading to St. Peter's Basilica.

The obverse reproduces the same graphic design as the other side, re-elaborating the elements of Pope Francis' shield with the anchor in the background and the miter and the infulas recalling the Basilica and the colonnade.
