Junius Brutus) walking left, accompanied by two lictors fore and aft, BR monogram before, KOΣΩN in exergue / Eagle with spread wings standing left on scepter, clutching laurel wreath in right talon. HGC 3.2, 2049. RPC I 1701. Strongly struck on broad, satiny flan.

Sigismund Bathory Taler 1592/1 UNC Details (Mount Removed) NGC, Nagybanya mint, Dav-8803 var. (overdate unlisted), Resch-111 var. (same). A visually intriguing specimen expressing finely rendered details struck just slightly off-center and hosted by a metallic, steely planchet. Despite the noted mount removal and evidence of a prior cleaning, the example at hand features surprising depth rarely encountered on this issue.
