The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is an international organization for regional economic integration. It has international legal personality and was established by the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty.

The EAEU guarantees the free movement of goods, services, capital and labor and applies a coordinated, harmonized and single policy in the sectors determined by the Treaty and international agreements within the Union.

The member states of the Eurasian Economic Union are the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.

The Union was created to comprehensively improve, increase competitiveness and cooperation between national economies and promote stable development in order to raise the living standards of the nations of the member states.

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union, the Bank of Russia issued a 3-ruble silver collector's coin on April 26.

The reverse of the coin shows a colored inscription 'ЕАЭС' on a matte relief surface; the EAEU emblem and semicircular ornaments of the EAEU member states and the EAEU observer states, Cuba and Uzbekistan, laser-treated for a matte finish, on the top; and embossed inscriptions 'ЕВРАЗИЙСКИЙ ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКИЙ СОЮЗ' (EURASIAN ECONOMIC UNION) around the circumference and '10 ЛЕТ' (10 YEARS) above it in two lines, at the bottom.

While the obverse shows a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation and the semicircular inscription «РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ» (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) framed with diamonds on both sides. Below the coat of arms is the chemical symbol for the metal, the fineness, the fine metal content and the mint mark. Below, in three lines, we see the inscription «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA), the face value of the coin «3 РУБЛЯ» (3 RUBLES), and the year of issue “2024 г.” (2024).
