The news does not stop, and as there are no holidays here, I am going to show you the image that will present the 2 euro commemorative coin that Monaco will issue this year to celebrate the "Tenth wedding anniversary of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene", that as I announced in its day the circulation will be only 15,000 units, predictably all will be minted in Proof quality.

As you can see, the image that shows the coin is very, very similar to the one issued in 2011, when the link was produced. The inner part of the coin features, in the center, the effigies of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene. At the top is the name of the issuing country "MONACO". At the bottom the legends "2011 - MARIAGE PRINCIPIER - 2021", among which are inserted the mint mark of the (Monnaie de Paris, Pessac) and that of the engraver, Joaquín Jiménez. The twelve stars of the European Union appear on the circular crown.
As in previous years, this coin will be put on sale in the online store of the Musée des Timbres et des Monnaies in Monaco, on a date not yet announced. If we are based on previous years, the price of it could be € 120, with shipping costs to Spain and other European countries of € 35.
A little about the wedding
On July 1, 2011, Prince Albert II married Miss Charlene Wittstock in a civil ceremony held in the Throne Room of the Prince's Palace. The religious marriage was celebrated the following day in the Royal Courtyard of the Palace before numerous members of the European royalty.
2021 marks the tenth anniversary of this union, consecrated on December 10, 2014 with the birth of twins, Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.
As most of you know, a commemorative 2-euro coin was also issued in 2011 for the celebration of the link, with a circulation of 147,877 pieces, a figure that we would like to be the same for the 2021 coin.
