Greek mythology is like a trunk that contains a large number of stories about ancient Greek gods, mythical creatures, and various heroes. Almost everyone has heard at least one story from Greek mythology. One of the oldest is that of Jason and the Argonauts. This story is commemorated in the new "Myths of Love" series. The image of Medea on this Lithuanian Mint coin is decorated with five Swarovski crystals: four green symbolize flora and blue represents water.
Medea has many faces and remains one of the most attractive female figures in Greek mythology. The coin represents her at the stage of her life when she was happy and radiated beauty, sensuality and elegance. This crazed feminine energy captivated Jason, but the spells were not eternal.
The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by beautiful climbing plants and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II", name of the Queen, "NIUE", issuing country, "2 DOLLARS", face value, " 2021 ", year of issue and" Ag 999 ", symbol of silver and its purity.
