This year, from July 22 to August 9, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games should have been taking place, as you know due to the pandemic by the covid-19, they have been postponed until next year, in principle from July 23 to 8 August 2021, but to this day no one dares to ensure that these are the final dates.
Many countries counted in their numismatic programs with the issuance of coins dedicated to the most important sporting event in the world, many of these have canceled or postponed their issues, others have decided to issue the coins anyway. Today I am going to show you one that was issued on July 22 that was scheduled to coincide with the start of the Olympiad. From my point of view it is a very nice coin, which can be purchased in two versions with the same design, the cheapest one can be purchased for less than 5 euros.

The back of the coin features Mount Fuji as a backdrop, with a stylized disk symbolizing the sun; Below is the logo of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine; In the center, on a plain background, are stylized images of origami art (origami) symbolizing various Olympic sports.
The obverse of the coin shows a small Ukrainian shield on the left; There is a stylized origami composition that symbolizes the close links between Japanese national architecture and nature; the composition is divided into two parts, a stream stream with fish and cherry blossoms on the left, and streamlined buildings of Tokyo on the right; in the center, on a plain background, is the vertical legend УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), the face value of the coin 10 or 2 ГРИВЕНЬ (10 or 2 grivnas), and the year of issue of the coin, 2020, on the right.
