As every time a new series of coins begins, and this is the case, I recommend, if you like it, to start collecting them, lest for some reason one or more of the pieces get difficult and then there is a pay extra to get them. This time it is an inexpensive series and there should be no problem having them at very affordable prices, but you never know.

The series I am talking about is called "The Offices of Man", they are coins of 10 rubles in circulation and the first one was issued a few days ago by the Bank of Russia to recognize the work of the "Metalworker".

The commemorative coin "Metalworker" is dedicated to workers in one of the most important industries in Russia, which comprises the processes of extracting metals from metal ores and other raw materials, ie metal workers .

The development of industries such as automotive, aviation, machinery, shipbuilding, and electrical energy depends directly on the availability of high-quality metallurgical products.

The coin shows a stylized image of a metal worker in protective clothing carrying a ladle with molten metal, around it we see sparks of fire jumping in different directions; the inscription 'ЧЕЛОВЕК ТРУДА' (Trades of Man) is in the upper left corner.

The common side to all the 10-ruble coins in this series represent: at the top "BANK OF RUSSIA" at the bottom "2020", on the left and right some laurel and oak branches, respectively. In the center are the number "10" and the inscription "ruble" indicating the face value of the coin. Within the number "0" in a latent image you see the number "10" and the inscription "rub". The mint mark is shown at the bottom.

Coin Features

Metal: Brass-plated steel
Diameter: 22mm
Thickness: 2.20mm
Weight: 5.63g
Emission volume: 1,000,000

The coin was issued on June 30. There is another one from the series planned for this year and another one for next year. We do not know the topic to which they will be dedicated, but surely there will be more than three in the series.
