The sketch of the first 2-euro commemorative coin that San Marino will issue in 2020, dedicated to the "500th anniversary of the death of Rafael Sanzio", Italian painter and architect of the Renaissance, has just been published by the Ufficio Filatelico e Numismatico de San Marino. . After tweaking the image, published in black and white, and mounting it on a real coin, I show you an approximation of how this coin will look.
The currency that has announced its date of issue for next March 5, with an emission volume composed of 53,000 pieces, reproduces a part of the Madonna with Bambino painting, painted by Rafael Sanzio.
