The face of the coin is characterized by a concave edge, which is provided with a radial structure. You can see two masks inside, they represent the two basic forms of drama: the mask on the left represents the tragedy. The mask on the right embodies comedy.






The other side consists of a convex edge and a flat internal part. Some places are printed in red. Stylized masks are shown, a violin cutout and a peace dove with an olive branch on its beak on the right edge of the coin. The "100 years of the Salzburg Festival" coin is an attempt to satisfy music and coin lovers alike.
