For a couple of years the Bank of Russia has been issuing a series of coins called «Russian (Soviet) Animation», they are 25 rubles in cupronickel that can be purchased in normal or colored version. There is also a Proof version in silver, with 3 rubles facial with the same design. The information and images that I offer correspond to those emitted in base metal (cupronickel).

On August 12, the fourth currency of the series was issued under the name "The Musicians of Bremen," a Soviet cartoon musical of the year 1969 based on the story of the same name written by the Grimm brothers. The film tells the adventures of a peculiar traveling musical quintet composed of a donkey, a dog, a cat, a rooster and a troubadour who travel through medieval Germany giving concerts. During a concert near the royal palace, the troubadour falls in love with the princess and friends plot a cunning plan to win the king's favor.

The reverse shows an embossed scene of the animated film and the inscription, in the upper semicircle, «БРЕМЕНСКИЕ МУЗЫКАНТЫ» (THE BREMEN MUSICIANS).

The obverse, common to all currencies, shows an embossed image of the coat of arms of the Russian Federation, the semicircle inscription “РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ” (Russian Federation). Below the inscriptions in three lines: “БАНК РОССИИ” (Bank of Russia), the value of the currency “25 РУБЛЕЙ” (25 RUBLOS), the year “2019” and the mint mark shown on the right.
