The Philatelic and Numismatic Office of the Vatican City has prepared for us next September 10 the combined Philatelic-Numismatic (Busta) that includes the 2-euro commemorative coin and stamps with special timbre, dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of the Foundation of the State of the Vatican City. In the Filátelico-Numismatic envelopes an exclusive card is included with the reproduction in the seals; of the emblem of the Office made under relief that completes and enriches this prestigious and refined product.
The motive of the coin shows a portrait of Pope Pius XI (sovereign of the State in 1929) and the facade of Lateran in Rome. In the upper part, in semicircle from left to right, is the inscription of the issuing State, "STATO DELLA CITTÀ DEL VATICANO". At the bottom, the years "1929" and "2019" are shown, and, below
them, the artist's name, "FUSCO".
