Dedicated to the outstanding actor and director of Ukrainian theater Panas Saksahansky, the Bank of Ukraine issues a coin of 2 grivnas dedicated to the character on May 14, of which 160 years have passed since his birth.
On the obverse is shown: the Small Emblem of the State of Ukraine (on the right), under which the vertical inscription UKRAINE; in the center there is a stylized composition: on the mirror background, the favorite seat of Panas Saksahansky, in which there is a hat, to the left of the rocking chair a shadow is projected where the character holds a mask in his hand, the theatrical curtain it is shown to the right; In the lower part the inscriptions appear: «2019», «2 GRIVNAS» and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On the back of the coin, a stylized composition is represented, which symbolizes the expression of the actor: "Everyone wants to look like not what he is", in the same the actor holds a mask in his hand, which symbolizes his talent to give life to other characters; on the left is the curtain; on the right the years in which he lived 1859-1940 and the semicircular inscription PANAS SAKSAHANSKY (semicircular).
