Despre seria de monede de 5 euro din argint, din Spania, care comemorează siturile UNESCO - primele trei seri (2014-2015)

Seria I

Fabrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre-Real Casa de la Moneda has initiated a new program of collector coins dedicated to the Spanish cities inscribed on the World Heritage List.

The first series of "World Heritage Cities", which is available to the public from today December 10, consists of five pieces dedicated to Alcala de Henares, Ávila, Baeza, Cáceres and Cordoba.

Minted in sterling silver with quality "proof" coins have a face of 5 euro.
The entire collection will be comprised of 15 pieces. The remaining 10 coins are available to the public throughout 2015.



Alcala de Henares

Alcala de Henares important archaeological treasures, a great medieval urban layout and a set of buildings of the Renaissance and Baroque.





The coin depicts the Plaza de Cervantes and in the foreground, the monument to the author of "Don Quixote de la Mancha"

Ávila

Avila is the most interesting and best preserved specimen of what was once a medieval Spanish walled city.




The currency is the main doorway of the Church of St. Peter the Apostle and the monument to St. Teresa.Baeza

Baeza has a very strong heritage cargo where even the symbolic-religious, academic and economic values ​​that have endured over the centuries remain. 




The currency is the main facade of the Palace of Jabalquinto, now houses the Antonio Machado Campus of the International University of Andalusia.

Caceres

Caceres is a land inhabited since time immemorial, which recounts the different stages through which man has passed.





The coin depicts a view of the city with the church of San Francisco
Javier first.

Cordova

Cordoba is one of the oldest cities in Europe. La Mezquita, soul and heart of Cordoba, is the center of gravity of this World Heritage Site.




On the coin an image of the city is represented by the Roman bridge over
the Guadalquivir and the Mosque.

In the (common to all five pieces) front the logo of UNESCO together, right, for the official emblem of the World Heritage Convention is playing.

Seria II

Cuenca

At the top of the coin, in a circular and in capital letters, the legend HERITAGE CITIES.

Merida




On the back of the third piece a picture of the Roman theater in Mérida played. Above the picture, on the left, the mint mark; on the right, in case the value of the coin 5 EURO. At the bottom of the coin, in capital letters, the MERIDA legend. At the top of the coin, in a circular and in capital letters, the legend HERITAGE CITIES.

Salamanca




On the back of the fourth piece a picture of the facade of the City of Salamanca plays.Above the picture, in case the value of the currency 5 EURO; to the right, the mint mark.At the bottom of the coin, in capital letters, the legend SALAMANCA. At the top of the coin, in a circular and in capital letters, the legend HERITAGE CITIES.

San Cristobal de la Laguna




On the back of the fifth coin features an image of the tower of the First Parish of Our Lady of Conception, the city of San Cristobal de La Laguna in Tenerife, in the eaves of a roof and a plant of verode first. The third and final series of "World Heritage Cities" was made available to the public on November 10, it has five parts devoted to the cities of Santiago de Compostela, Segovia, Tarragona, Toledo and Ubeda.

The complete collection consists of 15 pieces.


Santiago de Compostela





On the back of the first piece a picture of the main facade of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela played. Segovia
