The emblem of the two miners with Saxon swords, mallets and iron refers to the use of candle arches in a mining context.

The reverse shows an eagle symbol of the German state, the legend “BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND” (Federal Republic of Germany), the face value number “25” and the denomination, the mint mark “G” of the Karlsruhe Mint , the year 2023 and the twelve European stars.

The coin has a diameter of 30 mm, a weight of 22 g and is struck in 999 silver.

From today the coin is available in uncirculated quality at a face value of 25 euros in branches of the Deutsche Bundesbank and also in many German banks and savings banks.
