I just received from Italy, thanks to the friend Francesco, an image that I do not know who and where he could have taken it, in which you can see a coin already coined from the second piece of 2 euros commemorative of Vatican 2018, dedicated to the "50th Anniversary of the death of Padre Pio."
Although the currency does not appear complete, if enough to appreciate the core of a coin already minted. The representation of a face is not usually a reason to show off in the design, but as far as we can see, it seems that it has many details and also quite worked.
A second photo shows us the typical portfolio in which the currency will be presented. Take this opportunity to remind you that the coins that come in Vatican wallets, are not protected, so it is very important to remove them from the containers (always with gloves to not leave the fingerprints) and put them in capsules. It is the best way for a good conservation.
