Less than a month before the 2018 World Cup begins to be held in Russia between June 14 and July 15, the Bank of Russia has issued a commemorative 100-ruble ticket on May 22 dedicated to the important sporting event.
The bill oriented vertically, has dimensions 150 x 65 mm and is printed in polymer in which blue and green colors predominate. At the top it has a transparent window that contains a holographic element.
The coat of arms of the Russian Federation is in the upper left corner of the obverse. The main images of the front are a boy with a ball under his arm and a goalkeeper who throws himself to the ball. In the lower right corner there is a QR code, which contains a link to the website of the Bank of Russia with a description of the security features of the ticket.
The main image of the back or back is a stylized image of the terrestrial globe in the form of a soccer ball with a color image of the territory of the Russian Federation. Also present is number 2018, year of issue of the ticket and the FIFA World Cup in Russia. The serial number consists of two letters and nine digits printed both vertically and horizontally.
At first glance the ticket does not present the logo of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018, but when we put it under an ultraviolet light we see it as it appears in the image below.
