Last January, he announced that the FNMT intended to issue its first coin of 1 kilo pure silver, today we will know more details about this piece that is issued officially next Tuesday May 23. This will be the first of the Series of collectible coins denominated "One kilogram of silver", dedicated this year to the theme "History of the Dollar".
On the obverse, in the center of the coin, in a line of pinions, reproduces the portrait to the left of His Majesty the King Don Felipe VI, wearing emblems of Captain General;Surrounding the central motif, clockwise and inside another pinion of pine, appears the obverse and reverse of a coin of Eight reales; A fleur-de-lis; Front and back of a Dollar of 1794, the first issued in the United States; Another fleur-de-lis and obverse and reverse of a Joachimsthaler; In the lower part, a flower and, below, in two lines, in circular sense and in capital letters, the legend FELIPE VI KING OF SPAIN. In the upper part of the coin, in a circular sense, in capital letters and between two flowers, the legend HISTORY OF THE DOLLAR; In the outer lower part of the coin, in a circular direction, In capital letters and between two flowers, the legend HISTORY OF THE DOLLAR. Surrounds all the motifs and legends a graph of pine nuts.
On the reverse, in the center of the coin are the Columns of Hercules, girded with a band with the motto PLVS VLTRA and, below, the mark of Ceca. Surrounding the central motifs, clockwise, appear the front and back images of a Reichsthaler, a Leeuwendaalder, a Speciedaler and, at the bottom of the coin, a Maria-Theresien-Taler; Surrounded by these motifs, a sprocket of pine nuts interrupted in its upper and lower part. On the outside of the coin, on the left, in a circular upward direction, in capital letters and between two flowers, the legend SPAIN 2017; To the right, in descending circular direction, in capital letters and between two flowers, the value of the piece 300 EURO. Surrounds all the motifs and legends a graph of pine nuts.
