Although someday I could see real images of the 2 euro coin commemorative Luxembourg 2016, allusive to the 50th anniversary of bridge Grand Duchess Charlotte, today May 12 ago is the date officially announced by the Bank Central Luxembourg for issue.
The coin shows the bridge Grand Duchess Charlotte, which is the main route connecting the city center of Luxembourg Kirchberg district, where the institutions of the European Union based in the city are located. The text "Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte" (Bridge Grand Duchess Charlotte) and below the year "1966" are inscribed on the image of the bridge. At the top of the figure reason the effigy of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg and, to his left, the year of issue "2016". the name of the issuing country "LUXEMBOURG" appears on the bottom.
The issue volume for the currency is 500,000 pieces, of which 7,500 are presented in a coincard as you can see below.
Bridge Grand Duchess Charlotte
