O nouă monedă comemorativă spaniolă - 22.04.2016

In 2016 the fourth centenary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes is met. Paying tribute to what is considered as the greatest Spanish writer of all time, the Royal Mint issued a coin of 30 euros, sterling silver, presented in its version for collectors in an elegant purse, numbered and limited to 7500 units. 





On the obverse the overlapping effigies of Their Majesties King Don Felipe and Letizia reproduce. At the top of the coin, in a circular motion and in capital letters, the legend FELIPE AND LETIZIA VI. At the bottom of the coin, in a circular and in capitals, separated by a figure formed by a fleur de lis, SPAIN legend and the year of issue 2016. Surrounds the reasons and legends one pearl beading.

On the back, a portrait of Miguel de Cervantes and a notary, taken from an engraving by Manuel Salvador Carmona, preserved in the Royal Spanish Academy is played. On the right, the mint mark. On the left, in two lines and capitalized, the value of the part 30 EURO; below, a circle containing, in a latent image quadruple the date 1616 a five-pointed star, 2016 and the mintmark; below, the shield of the Royal Spanish Academy; to the left of these reasons, in a circular upward and in capital letters, the legend IV CENTENARY.Surrounds all the reasons and legends one pearl beading.

Both the purse which I have presented, as the loose currency are put on sale on Monday 25 April. Banks only distribute the loose currency, the purse can find in numismatic shops.
