The Department of Revenue
Taxes are the main source of government revenue for Thailand. A large part of tax collection comes from three main agencies under the Ministry of Finance. These are the Revenue Department, the Excise Department, and the Department of Customs, which together account for approximately 85-90% of government revenues. The Tax Department itself raises more than half of total tax revenue.
